Our city trail weaves through more than 30 sites, bringing together Christchurch's history, shared Māori and European heritage, remarkable people, art and architecture, and the innovation and creativity transforming the city today.
We'll revisit the story of the 2010–2011 earthquakes and discover how Christchurch responded, not simply by rebuilding, but by reimagining the way our city could look, feel and work. Along the way, you'll see innovative new spaces alongside treasured historic landmarks and discover fascinating details hidden within them.
Our tours are led by passionate locals who love sharing the stories and unique character of Christchurch. Whether you've lived here all your life or have recently made Christchurch home, there's always something new to discover.
